Holidays on the Birthdays of the Four Caliphs

Question

At Faiz-e ‘Am Inter College, Meerut, it has been decided to observe holidays on the birthdays of the following noble Companions ﵃. Therefore, kindly write down the birth dates of these noble Companions ﵃ by the Arabic (lunar) months and by the Christian (Gregorian) months: (1) Hazrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq ﵁; (2) Hazrat ‘Umar al-Faruq ﵁; (3) Hazrat ‘Uthman Ghani ﵁; (4) Hazrat ‘Ali ﵁.

Answer

I have not found the Arabic dates of birth of the four Caliphs ﵃ that are fixed and correspond to Christian dates. Observing holidays on these days is likewise no Sharʿi ruling or benefit; otherwise, if one were to trace the birth dates of the great figures of this Umma and observe holidays on those days, the whole year would pass in nothing but holidays and not a single day…
