Aid from a non-Muslim to a religious madrasa
Question
A kafir wishes to give a religious madrasa some aid in clothes, grain or money, so that this aid is spent on poor students and the needy. Is it permissible to accept it or not?
Answer
If he gives it regarding it as a meritorious deed, and the predominant assumption is that he will not display his favour over the people of the madrasa — the students and others — or over other Muslims, and there is no fear of any other harm, then accepting it is permissible.
