Flower Pots in the Mosque

Question

Furthermore, what is the ruling on planting flowers and the like in the mosque for the sake of fragrance?

Answer

If there is a flower bed within the enclosure of the mosque, then planting flowers there or keeping them in pots for the sake of fragrance is correct; however, the place designated for prayer should not be occupied with flowering plants.
