Praying on the Mosque Roof in Intense Heat

Question

(1) In Banda an old mosque has been rebuilt from scratch, but in the lower part little air passes through. Can the congregational prayer therefore be held on the roof of the mosque or not, and are there any conditions for this? (2) Is it necessary to have a minbar built in every mosque? (3) What is the ruling on building a two-storey mosque?

Answer

(1) Climbing onto the roof of the mosque and praying there because of the intensity of the heat is makruh, unless the mosque is two-storeyed and the prayer is arranged in both places. (2) It is not necessary. (3) It is permissible.
