Classrooms and Residential Houses on the Mosque’s Remaining Land
Question
May classrooms for a madrasa and houses for the teachers and students to live in be built on the mosque’s remaining land, or not?
Answer
If a building is constructed on land belonging to the mosque for the students to live in or for teaching, then a fair rent should be fixed for that land, and it should be paid to the mosque on behalf of the madrasa.
