Making Doors in the Western Wall of a Mosque for the Convenience of the Madrasa People

Question

To the west of the mosque there was a graveyard; an Islamic madrasa was built there, and the madrasa people broke the western wall of the mosque and made three doors, through which the students come and go and perform the prayer. Is it permissible to make doors in this way and to build the madrasa, or not?

Answer

The madrasa people’s breaking the western wall of the mosque and opening three doors for the convenience of their own coming and going is a wrong way. They should come and go by the route that is the general way into the mosque; this act was wrong. As for the madrasa, on whichever side of the mosque it may be, as expedient, there is no harm in that.
