Spending one waqf in another place

Question

Here the various mosques have separate awqaf, but several people got together, pooled the awqaf of about ten mosques, and began spending the income of one mosque on another mosque — is this permissible or impermissible?

Answer

The income of the property that the waqif separately endowed for a given mosque is to be spent on that mosque and not spent on another mosque.
