Aqiqa at a wedding
Question
Question: The questioner states: the weddings of my daughters are taking place here, and I want to perform the aqiqa of the children at their weddings. My idea is to take one animal, include it in this wedding, and feed all of my relatives and the people of the wedding procession with it. If this is permissible, please inform me. For the aqiqa I want to take a buffalo or an animal of its breed.
Answer
If you slaughter one buffalo, or an animal of its breed with which the sacrifice is valid, make in it the intention of aqiqa for the three boys and for the girl, and also feed its meat to the guests who come to the wedding, then this is correct according to the Shari‘a.
