The ruling on a sacrifice made after a prayer mistakenly performed without wudu

Question

If, having performed the Eid prayer, the sacrifice was made immediately, and afterwards it became known that the imam had forgetfully led the prayer without wudu, and the prayer was repeated — must the sacrifice already made also be repeated, since it took place before the Eid prayer?

Answer

Repeating such a sacrifice is not necessary; rather, that sacrifice was valid (“Shami”, vol. 5, p. 203).
