A case of sacrifice before the Eid prayer

Question

If on the tenth of Dhu al-Hijja the Eid prayer is not performed for some reason, should the sacrifice also not be made on that day?

Answer

On that day the sacrifice should be made after zawal (the sun’s passing the meridian) (“Zayla‘i”, vol. 5, p. 4).
