Sacrificing the offspring of a deer and a goat

Question

Zayd kept a deer and also kept a goat. The deer mated with the goat, a kid (young one) was born from it, and it has reached one year of age. Is its sacrifice valid or not?

Answer

The sacrifice of the young kid born of the deer and the goat is valid: this young one takes the ruling of the mother, and the mother is a goat (Shalabi, vol. 6, p. 7).
