Is There a Mark of ‘Ali’s Sword on Dajjal’s Shin

Question

Wherever Dajjal is mentioned, only this much is said — that Dajjal will come and establish rule; nothing further is known about his being born again from anywhere. However, I have also learned from some trustworthy people that Dajjal lies wounded in some mountain, and that there is a wound from Hazrat ‘Ali’s ﵁ sword on Dajjal’s shin. Please enlighten us as to the truth [of this].

Answer

Who are these trustworthy people? Please find out the reference from them and inform me as well — that would be a kindness. Had I been acquainted with them, I would have found out myself where this is written. On the face of it, this appears to be a fabrication of the Rafidis. I have not seen in any book [a mention] that Hazrat ‘Ali ﵁ struck Dajjal’s shin with his sword.
