Who Performed the Ghusl for Hazrat Fatima?

Question

When Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra ﵂ passed away, who performed her ghusl (ritual washing) — the wives of the Prophet ﷺ (the Mothers of the Believers) or Hazrat ‘Ali ﵁?

Answer

Her ghusl was performed by Umm Ayman ﵂, as related on the authority of “Sharh al-Majma‘” in “Radd al-Muhtar”.
