Going to the office during ‘idda to collect a salary

Question

Question: Our father has passed away; he was a government employee. May our respected mother now go to the office during the days of ‘idda to collect the late father’s remaining salary or the fund money, or not? For unless she goes herself, the money is not paid at the time it is needed.

Answer

She may go.
