Where the widow should have spent her 'idda

Question

Question: I married my son to an adult girl; 13 months later the son died, leaving the widow pregnant, and five months later a girl was born. The widow spent her 'idda among her own relatives. The young man's father told her to spend the 'idda at his place, but her relatives did not agree; they took her to their home, and the girl was born there. The entire cost of the birth was borne by the young man's father.

Answer

She was required to spend the 'idda in that very house in which the husband died and in which she had already been living with her husband.
