Remarriage after two talaqs

Question

Question: I, being of sound mind and senses and without any compulsion or coercion (ikrah), write that I have, for the reasons below, pronounced talaq upon the woman named Hajira Begum, daughter of Nasir Muhammad, resident of Karwar, Sultanpur district, who is in my nikah, and separated her from my nikah (“طلاق دیدی اور اپنے نکاح سے علیحدہ کر دیا”). (1) Even in those matters in which obedience to me was obligatory (wajib)

Answer

(1) She has become divorced. (2) There are two expressions here. The first expression is “طلاق دیدی” (“I pronounced talaq”): by it one revocable (raj‘i) talaq has taken effect. The second expression is “اپنے نکاح سے علیحدہ کر دیا” (“I separated her from my nikah”): by it she has become irrevocably (ba’in) separated. Now the right of taking back (ruju‘)
