Prayer for One Afflicted with Drops [of Urine]

Question

I suffer from the complaint of drops: even after I perform istinja’ and cleanse myself, a drop comes out. I constantly wear short underpants, and I also change them, [but] the thought of it is always on my mind. In such a situation, how am I to maintain purity?

Answer

Designate a separate waist-cloth permanently for prayer, so that when the time comes you perform istinja’, cleanse yourself, tie on the waist-cloth and pray. Or else place cotton in the urinary opening: that is, after finishing urinating and performing istinja’, place the cotton inside in such a way that part of it remains outside.
