Must Najasa Be Removed from Clothing Even with Tayammum?

Question

Zayd had only one pure garment, and that too became impure through contact with something impure. Is it necessary, despite tayammum, to wash that impure garment to the extent the najasa got on it, put it on and pray in it, or not?

Answer

On the impure garment, the place where the najasa got must be washed, whether the prayer is performed with ghusl or with tayammum; tayammum makes no difference to this ruling.
