Is Washing the Organ Obligatory After a Drop Comes Out?

Question

If, after a person has finished urinating and performing istinja’, a drop of urine comes out, is it obligatory even because of one or two drops to wash the penis (dhakar), or may one make wudu and pray, or not? A certain person has such a complaint of drops of urine coming out that, after istinja’ with water, he places a piece of cotton in his urethra (ihlil) (penis) as a precaution. After ½ an hour the coming of drops of urine stops, but some drop is visible on that cotton.

Answer

Purifying with water is the better course when that drop has not got onto his body; if it has got onto it, then purifying with water is emphatically required. Such a person should now not wash with water.
