Wudu Is Not Required of the Junub

Question

A man is junub, and the water is not enough for ghusl but is enough for wudu. Should he perform wudu and then tayammum, or is there no need for wudu?

Answer

In this situation wudu is not wajib upon him; tayammum is sufficient (thus in al-Durr al-Mukhtar, vol. 1, p. 39).
