Using a Wine Bottle after Washing

Question

In our city of Srinagar a certain gentleman, who is very religious, distils distillates (herbal waters), which are used in many medicines — cinnamon distillate, rose water and so on. But he puts this distillate into bottles in which wine usually comes filled from outside. Having bought these bottles, he washes them clean and boils them, after which he puts the distillate in them, since their caps are strong and there is no fear of the distillate spoiling.

Answer

After being washed and boiled the bottle becomes completely pure; keeping rose water in it is permissible, and the distillate will not be impure.
