Putting a Chicken into Boiling Water after Slaughter

Question

In England, in the government slaughterhouses, Muslims slaughter their chickens with their own hands in the Islamic manner. After slaughter, without removing the filth, without slitting the belly and before the entrails are taken out, the chicken is put into hot water and then cleaned by machine. The water is not so hot that it would burn the hand or boil eggs; it does not even affect the skin. And the skin of the chickens is also removed. Is it permissible to eat these chickens?

Answer

Answer (1) — by Ahmad Ibrahim, servant of the Dar al-Ifta of Dar al-Ulum Falah-e Darain If the situation is as you have described in the question, then eating the meat of such chickens, feeding it to others, trading in it and cooking the meat of such chickens in a hotel is permissible, because the effect of the impurity has not reached the meat.
