The Ruling on the Fast of a Woman Who Becomes Pure from Hayd

Question

If a woman becomes pure from her hayd before 11 o'clock in the morning, will it be obligatory for her to remain fasting that day? And will there be a make-up (qada) of that day's fast — in the month of Ramadan?

Answer

That day's fast did not take place — she should make it up (qada) later; however, on that day too she should not eat or drink anything until evening, like a fasting person.
