No Nifas After Giving Birth

Question

If a woman had no nifas (post-natal bleeding) after giving birth to a child, is ghusl obligatory for her or not?

Answer

The preferred position (qawl mukhtar) is that ghusl is obligatory (thus in Radd al-Muhtar, vol. 1, p. 113).
