Looking at and Touching the Wife’s Private Part during Hayd

Question

What is [the ruling on] looking at and touching what is below the navel, as well as the private parts, of one’s wife while she is in the state of hayd?

Answer

In al-Durr al-Mukhtar it says: [ar]وَهَلْ يَحِلُّ النَّظَرُ وَمُبَاشَرَتُهَا لَهُ؟ فِيهِ تَرَدُّدٌ[/ar] “Is looking [at her] permissible, and her touching him?
