Relieving Oneself and Intercourse through the Trouser Leg without Untying the Waistband

Question

A man or a woman is wearing gusseted trousers. In this case, what is the ruling on the woman urinating, defecating or having intercourse (wat’) with her husband — that is, on a man, wearing short drawers or loose trousers and without undoing the drawstring, raising his right or left leg and urinating, defecating or having intercourse with a woman?

Answer

Urination can be done, defecation can be done, and intercourse can be done too; there is no restriction on this from the Shari‘a, but doing it this way carries the risk of soiling the clothes.
