Entering the Toilet Wearing Jewellery on Which “Allah” Is Written
Question
Women wear necklaces around their necks to adorn themselves for their husbands, and on some of them the name “Allah” or “Muhammad” is written in places. What is the ruling on entering the toilet while wearing such a necklace? If it is makruh, please specify whether it is makruh tanzihi or tahrimi.
Answer
This is contrary to reverence for the pure Name; it is makruh tahrimi.
