Water from an Impure Well Was Filled into the Hammam — How Is the Hammam Purified?

Question

(1) A well became impure (najis); its water went into the hammam (water tank), wudu was also performed from the ewers, the water also reached the mats of the mosque, and this water was certainly [drawn] at the time [the well was in a state of] impurity. Have all these things become impure or not? (2) And how are they to become pure? In particular, please be sure to write the method of purifying the hammam. (3)

Answer

(1) If the impure water was filled and used after the impurity of the well had become known, then all these things have become impure. Water should be poured over each thing three times, and they will then become pure. A thing that can be wrung out should be wrung out, and otherwise it should be dried.
