The mu'takif going home for wudu

Question

If the mu'takif's wudu is broken, and the water is outside the mosque, and no one at all is present, what should he do?

Answer

He should go home, perform wudu and return at once: [ar]وَلَا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ لِلْوُضُوءِ وَلَا يَمْكُثُ بَعْدَ الْفَرَاغِ[/ar] "There is no harm in his entering his house for wudu, but he should not linger after finishing" (Majma' al-Anhur). But this ruling concerns a wajib wudu; there is no need to go out for a mustahabb wudu.
