Hadath During I'tikaf

Question

If during i'tikaf hadath (ritual impurity breaking wudu) occurs again and again, both while awake and while asleep, will one have to perform wudu again and again? And what is the ruling on looking at books of tafsir and fiqh in such a state?

Answer

Remaining in a state of wudu is mustahabb, not wajib. Studying books of tafsir and fiqh with wudu is likewise mustahabb.
