The latest time of Tahajjud and Witr

Question

Because sleep overcomes me, I am unable to perform the Tahajjud prayer regularly. What is the latest time for the Tahajjud and Witr prayers?

Answer

The time of Tahajjud and Witr ends with the true dawn. If the habit of rising in the last part of the night has not yet become firm, then pray Witr before going to sleep. Letting it become qada' (a make-up prayer) is a sin.
