The times of Isha, sahur, Tahajjud and the like
Question
Is the end of the time for the Isha prayer, the Tahajjud prayer and eating sahur the same, that is, does the time of all three last up until true dawn? And from when does the time of Tahajjud begin, and what is its end?
Answer
The final time of all of them is one and the same. Eating sahur a little before the rise of true dawn is afdal (better). Sahur should be delayed, but not so much that doubt arises whether true dawn has already come; rather, it should be finished before that.
