A second and a third supplication

Question

The command to ask with the words of a supplication three, five or seven times is established from the hadiths; but is there proof for raising the hands and supplicating three times after finishing the obligatory prayer, or not? If someone regards supplicating three times with raised hands as part of the religion and reproaches the one who omits it, what is the ruling concerning such a person?

Answer

Supplicating with raised hands several times after a single prayer is not established.
