The shortened prayer (qasr)

Question

What is the method of performing the shortened prayer (qasr)? For example, if the zuhr prayer is to be prayed shortened, how should the niyya be made?

Answer

He simply makes the niyya for the zuhr prayer and performs two rak‘as.
