The reward of sitting in one place after fajr until ishraq

Question

It is written in “Bihishti Zewar” (“Heavenly Ornaments”) that sitting in one’s place after the morning prayer — until the time of ishraq comes — earns the reward of hajj. If [a person] comes home in silence, keeps reciting the Qur’an and gets up [only] after praying the ishraq prayer, will he too receive the same reward or not? That is all.

Answer

This reward is not for him, because in some narrations this is explicitly stated — as is also found in “Bihishti Zewar” itself — that he remains occupied with dhikr and the like while sitting right there; by getting up from that place, coming home and occupying oneself with dhikr, one does not receive that much reward — it becomes diminished.
