The follower saying the kalima tayyiba when the imam finishes Surat al-Fatiha

Question

When I stand behind the imam, after the imam recites Surat al-Fatiha the kalima tayyiba comes out of my mouth by itself. I try hard to stop it, but it does not stop. In such a case, will my prayer be valid or not?

Answer

The prayer does not, indeed, become fasid (invalid) because of this, but do correct it. The command is to remain silent behind the imam. Keep in mind the fulfilment of this command and make an effort as well. May Allah Most High help [you].
