When the voice drops on “-lin” in “wa la’d-dallin”
Question
When Zayd, in an audible (jahri) prayer, recites “wa la’d-dallin” (وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ), the voice on “-lin” becomes so low that even the people of the first row cannot hear [it]. In this case, will the prayer be valid or not?
Answer
If the voice on “-lin” in “wa la’d-dallin” (وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ) becomes low, such that not even all the people of the first row hear it, the prayer does not become fasid (invalid) because of this.
