If the imam’s voice does not reach the last row

Question

Is the imamate of an imam whose voice does not reach the last row permissible or not, when there are other people besides him who are fit for the imamate, but the former imam surpasses them in piety?

Answer

It is permissible. If his voice does not reach the last row, let a mukabbir be arranged: someone should call out the takbirs.
