Congregation on the veranda because of sun or rain

Question

If, because of sun or rain, one or two rows are formed on the veranda of the mosque, which is outside the mosque, will their following of the imam (iqtida’) be valid? And will there be any defect in their prayer or not?

Answer

If outside the mosque there is no gap such that a single camel cart could pass through it, then it is valid.
