What to do if the adhan may lead to a quarrel
Question
A person lives in a neighbourhood where the sound of the adhan does not reach at all. What is the ruling for him? And if there is fear that calling the adhan will lead to a dispute with the Hindus (because of their numbers and dominance), what should such a person do?
Answer
Such a person should himself call the adhan and the iqama and then pray, because the sound of the adhan does not reach him at all, so with respect to him it is as if it did not exist. So it is in the aforementioned passage from Radd al-Muhtar.
