The Merit of Zamzam Water in Hadith

Question

Does Zamzam water have any distinction over other waters, or not?

Answer

Its merit is related in a noble hadith: it appeared from the spot where Hazrat Isma‘il ﵇ rubbed his foot from severe thirst, in order to relieve that thirst; and at the time of the splitting of the breast (shaqq al-sadr), his ﷺ blessed heart was washed with this very water. It has other distinctions as well.
