Sitting on a Chair While the Qur’an Is Placed Below

Question

If the Noble Qur’an is being recited below, and someone wishes to sit on a chair or a cot, how far away must he sit?

Answer

As far as where another room begins, and such that no disrespect is shown to the Noble Qur’an.
