Marital Relations in a Room Where the Qur'an Is Kept

Question

Question: In a room where the Holy Qur’an is kept, a certain man says that one should not have marital relations with one’s wife in that room. Is this correct?

Answer

If the Holy Qur’an is kept safely in a niche or cupboard, in a raised place, then there is no harm in having marital relations with one’s wife in that room.
