Applying Henna and Cosmetic Paste to the Boy

Question

A few days before the wedding they apply henna to the boy and apply a cosmetic body paste, and the paste is made by roasting grain, for example barley.

Answer

This too is nothing of the Shari‘a; it is a custom that ought to be abandoned. It also contains imitation of women, which has been prohibited.
