Prohibition Resulting from Touching One’s Own Daughter with Desire

Question

A man at night, for the sake of his carnal desire, went to his wife’s bed. His daughter was sleeping beside his wife, and his hand touched the daughter, that is, her arm and the like, and he realised at that very moment that it was his daughter. What is the ruling for him? Concerning this issue the respected Mawlawi Ashraf ‘Ali ﵀ writes in his “Bihishti Zewar” (“Heavenly Ornaments”): this man’s wife will become impermissible for him; he should divorce his wife (talaq).
