Nikah with the Daughter of One's Full Sister's Son

Question

Is nikah with the daughter of one's full nephew — one's sister's son — permissible or not?

Answer

Nikah is not permissible with a sister or with anyone of a sister's offspring. Nikah with the daughter of one's sister's son is likewise not permissible. There is an explicit statement to this effect under the words “and the daughters of the brother and the daughters of the sister” (وَبَنَاتُ ٱلْأَخِ وَبَنَاتُ ٱلْأُخْتِ).
