Nafl prayers on the nights of the two Eids

Question

What is [the ruling on] praying nafl prayers on the nights of the two Eids? Is praying nafl and tahajjud on the night of the Eids established from the Prophet ﷺ and the Companions ﵃ or not?

Answer

It is written in “Maraqi al-Falah” that on the nights of the two Eids it is mustahabb to spend the whole night in worship and to pray nafl prayers.
