Not listening to the Jumu‘a and Eid khutba

Question

Is it correct, while the Jumu‘a and Eid khutba is being delivered, not to listen to it, regarding listening as unnecessary, and to leave?

Listening [to the khutba] is wajib; to regard it as not wajib and to leave is not correct.
