A sermon between the two adhans of Jumu'a
Question
In a certain small town there is a great, widely renowned religious seminary, within which there is also a Jami' Mosque. In the Jami' Mosque a fixed time is set for the Jumu'a prayer; at the fixed time a considerable number of people of every class gather from the town to perform the Jumu'a prayer. A loudspeaker is used to carry the voice to everyone. There is a certain respected Mawlawi “S” who is extremely eager for the tabligh (conveying)
Answer
The better course is to settle by mutual consultation that, as soon as the first adhan is given, the necessary rulings and injunctions of the religion begin to be explained, with the listeners coming, sitting down and listening; the talk should be ended eight to ten minutes before the adhan, and at that time everyone should perform the sunnas calmly.
