Following the imam in the Jumu'a prayer in a small village

Question

There is a village where the Friday prayer is not permissible. In such a case, if a person, in order to avoid strife (fitna), follows the imam (iqtida') in the Friday prayer [with the intention of] a nafl — is it permissible for this person to follow [the imam with the intention of] a nafl or not?

Answer

If he has no way out other than this, then there is room for it (it is allowed).
